Just back from watching Avatar.

@defaultname365,
What is the diffrence betwwen #D and non other than the sharpness? Actually want to watch 3d but ticket sold out and I afraid will good headache after that. But if the difference is big, probably will try to watch it.

If we talk about story, yup... I agree, it very predictable. Example when the story revealed about how the spirit tree can transfer human conscience into Na'vi body, I bet all audience can predict that at the end Jack will follow the same ritual. Another thing is about the Torak Ma.. (forgot the name).

But for it CGI, really... shocking.gif 10/10. Like Jack, I even don't know which one is real.

Draggy pace? Don't think so because I totally unaware about the the time.

Human already been there a few years back before the story start. In the second research base (hanging mountain), did you notice Grace avatar in the photo with some na'vi children. That's the picture when Grace teach Na'vi english language.

Na'vi already know about the avatar a few years before Jack Sully come and there call them Dream walker.
