hi, just wanna ask people around here, say i have a business idea and i need someone to help me develop the idea. before i let him know the full details, i ask him to sign a non disclosure agreement stating that he cannot use the idea for his own interests bla bla.

just wanna know, in malaysia, how effective is this NDA in protecting my idea?

if the developer uses this idea for himself, what kind of legal action can i take against him? if yes, how long do i need to wait (cos i understand the courts in malaysia all full, need to take number and queue?)?

would appreciate some feedback from you guys especially those in the legal industry.
