Guys, izzit safe to reinstall the PS3 firmware?
My PS3 is updated with the 2.35 Firmware but I am having problems when playing BD movies. So I am thinking of reinstalling the 2.35 firmware. Izzit safe? |

Oh ok. BD is working fine on my friend's PS3. Guess my PS3 is fcuked.
Btw, you said that you once fixed a PS3 and it could not play BD movies anymore. What happen to it? |

Lol yea man..
I tried everything, using HDMI, trying friend's Blu-ray movie, reset to factory setting, FULL PS3 FORMAT(!!), changing the BD/DVD video output, even the sound output! And nothing seems to help... Left two things to check. Firmware and lens =/ |

For me I only use my PS3 strictly for playing PS3 games only. Don't want to stress my PS3 lens with other things.
