Just an update ...they still accepted my nextg card card when i top up just now...Wheee!

Well...you can still buy stuff frm SG psn right?...a few of malaysian Credit cards are accepted in SG

No firmware files are installed on the hdd...I've formatted mi hdd several times and there was no need for firmware reinstalling...

try emailing sony about this...maybe it's a server issues...

1) can u see the game list that you have which have trophies?
2) if yes, what's the percentage?

IIRc trophies are stored on sony's server...so you should try emailing them...

Nah...don't count on it...Maybe they are cahnging some prices/ads for raya celebration...that's if they are sensitive enough

It's not really bad news....coz it's on no way affecting us directly...

Flash is the most important part for the firmware and settings to be stored....one don really need big spaces since most of the new apps are stored on the HDD and nowadays since the hdd is getting bigger they can just put everything there and that's why if you swapped HDD...you need to reinstall the firmware as part of the firmware are installed together in it....

If you guiys noticed....last time PS3 only takes 2-3 GB of storage from a fresh PS3...but nowadays a freehly formated/bought PS3 usually lost 10+ GB from the whole space the HDD can offer...all these are resserved for the firmware which includes the settings/Blu-ray player and etc..

So the space for devs and SONY to use is actually bigger...since they now decided to have it on the HDD instead....

IT's teh same case witht the PSP (although the size remains the same)..last time all the settings and internal apps are on the flash but now some firmware apps are on the mem stick like the internet radio player....

So nothing to fret...

Wonder why you guys kenot install...I got all the new demos (cept for olympic) and all installed successfully....

I've played the LBP beta online with a friend from US and also UK...damn laggy.....almost unplayable....but I kinda bear with it since the game damn syiok....

Mine like that also...direct download and torrent using vpn can get full speed but when it comes to PSn...a bit slow unless I'm on a high ping IP address....like 60.50.xx.xx..then only download will be at full speed...

Last time any IP also can get full speed but nowadays only certain IP can get full speed...

Most prob same as PSP firmware...around 15th Oct
