Anyone downloaded Armored Core? I found it @ the SG store...

Nice eye candy, but when I reach the big ass battleship.. and started jumping around.. framerate went down.

A big letdown by the demo.. enviroments are totally dull with a sprinkling of dull and generic buildings in a desert.

SIEN. So far only games that showcases PS3 is... MGS4 and GT5:P.
Anymore games I should get?

Guys, I just wanna ask if any of you having hang ups with the latest firmware (2.42)? I notice after updating to 2.42 from 2.41, there are occasional hangs. Some I waited for it to continue (Rock Band) and some I had to do cold reboot (mostly in GRiD).

after winning race,we got cash from sponsor.that time i see
a little HANG.

when palying..car look LEKAT-LEKAT also.when corner TAJAM,
back to track..a little HANG appear.

question : how to back 2.41 firmware?.if undo firmware..can effect PS3?

I don't recommend reverting back to 2.41 (if its possible). You can't play online anyway~

This hanging/jerking problem might be serious. Someone had his hard disk spoiled. Not too sure if the hanging is causing this.

No no... not HDD spoil because of reverting back. HDD spoiled because of the hangings... but still not too sure...

I had two freezes so far but i got them from SC4 at the online lobby. Most of the hangs are usually caused by network problems.

I have neither of those games (Grid / BC), only MGS4 and SC4. Both are ok and haven't hung so far.
All the demos and full vber of star strike hd work well too.

40GB SG unit.

i've got hanging problem after update to 2.42 also..so far twice..both in GRID..hmm is it just the games or the console itself...gosh hope it's just the game..

also using 40GB Asian..

Have you not tried Uncharted? Also showcases the PS3's prowess.

Siren does it pretty damn well too, th character models are really well done. Pretty much just a taste of how horror games can be if it is done right.

guys, I want to ask u something, when u downloading anything like demo on PS3 and then u play a game, does the download still running? mine not running and it say pending on ingame xmb...but it will start downloading when not playing any game... is there any setting that I need to configure? before update to firmware 2.39, this doesn't happen...
