When u restore your phone ... it will "format" everything but not the baseband. Thats why u still can receive call. All u need to do is jailbreak and activate. I suggest to use iLiberty+ coz ZiPhone is not that trustworthy now. No need to restore back. Remember ... don't make it a habit to always restore the phone if u bump into trouble.
