i wanna ask WHY THE LOS ERRORS got 3 one? means?

and u guys always look at DS and US LINE ATTENUATION right (BLUE COLOR )? i know some of u had show me about the modem stuff terms site...
but i dont really understd some of it bcoz d term is different like is SNR = DS n US ATTENUATION?im tech nub 

d TM ppl call me and ask about my phone probs n i think they have change my streamyx problem to phone line problem coz when take up n hang up the phone got some noise...

haiz....

BTW WHAT IS DSLAM??? if the person come n change my phone line shd i ask him change dono what DSLAM onot since i saw some 1 up there is oso doing d same...hehe

eh...why change telephone line wire by non tm ppl? isit house phone wire? cost how much ya? isit totally change all phone line that connect from outside into ur house? isit better now wif new wire?

for one yr there is no problem i use normal phone line lah....so fast n normal which im satisfy with but since this yr FEB till now my problem still haven solve yet...ALMOST HALF YEAR!!!

i have been getting crappy speed for so long and am getting tired of calling tm ... so i heed for ur advice

i have like [wall jack --2m--> splitter -- 10m --> modem]

so got a shorter one (2m) to replace the 10m wan ... and before this my speed was liek 10 - 12kB/s

and now... !!!!!!!!

You got the point here. With your permission , I am going to use your tips to come up with this . So length of the phone line is also one of the factor. I'll come up with a new thread (Troubleshoot your streamyx) !

So you only changed the phone line is it? How much shorter? I think I need to try this. So slow arr.
How much does a phone line cost though?

weird heh~ my DSL light blink for a few minutes then my speed bcome 400kbps di ~_~

before the blinking happend it has ard 1M for download

regarding with the SNR margin from 34 to 27..
What is the problem with the SNR margin i dont see any problem here. and i got mine 13 all the time.. i still able to surf happily.

unless u are using fiber optic.
by changing port is not really help all the time ( if anyone pro's here able to explain about the port thinggy) ?

TM Technician responsibility :
1. internet speed from local site only ( >70% of speed consider good) (best effort basis)
2. ping result. ( start > run > commend > ping www.tm.net.my  )(if u get <50ms u are consider good)
3. line quality. (downstream SNR shd more than >10 )(as well as no dc during raining n on the phone)
4. miss capped (1mb user get 512package)

Out of their Capacity.
1. IP range (only Network Operating Centre can fix the problem)
2. SNR Margin ( 1st change ur house telephone cable, 2nd change telephone outside ur house)
3. international site is slow. (only Network Operating Centre can fix the problem)
4. slow during peak hours. (overselling or over congested.)
5. routing (only Network Operating Centre can fix the problem)

Everything causes TMnut to slowdown. If the moon not aligned properly TMnut slow if the Sun don't rise TMnut slow .

I rang TMnut this what their voice message said:

Dear valued customers (don't f***en bullshit me we ain't valued) we are experiencing service disruption in Subang Airport, Selangor what this has to do with all lines sucking big time i have no idea maybe a TMnut user flew 1 of MAS planes into TMnut!
