i read about this in Total Film. they will shape a new franchise around shia.

what concerns me is how Lucas confessed that he didn't quite like the storyline in indy4. in the interview he said that the script was actually rejected by Harrison and Steven 14 years ago. only after years of waiting did both of them decide to reuse the plot. yeah..... they are making this film just for the moolah. or as Lucas coined it " we are taking a movie vacation"

i'm still gonna watch it. but i set my bar low. i dont have high expectation of indy4 at all

nope. the early draft of the film was shot down ages ago. its easy to say " they don't need the money". but fact is neither of these two film giants have made really awesome movies lately. Munich was blasted by most critics as horribly imbalance. Star Wars III in the other hand is just a tech demo for what ILM can do. the story si cringe worthy.

they might not need the money but they need to retstore their pride. and that mr burger man is more important to them than all the moolahs in the world

p/s: it seems this new indie will feature some sort of sci fi element in it. this will be interesting
