See the map and see how close is it to the MRT.. Thomson looks really far from Novena.. looks like 20 minute walk

but theres bus station nearby which is very convenient and easy to use in singapore

for the bus it depends on location and time.. For IE.. Buses are much more frequent in the morning and residential places due to working hours etc.. but you can be assured it will be on time +- 2minutes maybe? Everything is written on the bus stop for your convinience
