QUOTE(jeremy0 @ Jul 20 2011, 12:24 PM) Hi i just returned from singapore last weekend. The mastercard promo for weekends at rw is definitely worth it. U'll get 20% of tics and $10 gift voucher for souvenirs per mastercard. If u book seperately with ur spouse/partner card, u can get extra voucher! Where do you redeem the S$10 gift voucher as only 200 redemption per day, would like to be fast before all grab up since I'll be going there next month (bought the USS ticket through mastercard promo)For cheap and clean 3 star hotel with free car park, book riverview hotel @ havelock road. Singapore Great Sale website have link to crazy @ rivervalley rates. Price is $137 ++ per night for 2 person superior. They are near zouk and easy to go to cbd/clarke quay area. And the hotel price seems very competitive. I wonder if I book 2 person superior, would they charge if i sneakily check in with 3 pax instead This post has been edited by shortleg88: Jul 20 2011, 05:59 PM |

QUOTE(jeremy0 @ Jul 21 2011, 11:04 AM) No MRT stations nearby, but bus stop right in front of hotel....it goes to orchard Thanks for the reply. I emailed them and yeah they say it's ok for me to leave my luggage there while I check in only at night. But I didn't specify what time at night though. I've forgot I might go casino but anyhow I think I'll still catch the last bus and MRT back. The $10 gift voucher is at the customer service on the far left right after you enter. Come early during the opening to avoid voucher finishing. I went with my spouse and 2 kids, sharing one room....so far its ok bcoz the hotel is fully book and busy most of the time. I stayed 2 nights so the first was walking around clarke quay and orchard while the next day was spent entirely in USS....for a sunday, it was definitely packed...luckily the BSG line wait was only 5 minutes....food wise, the pastry and bakery shop in front was the cheapest....with $5.90 for a pie or pastry.... My advise is just check in earlier....room won't be ready for ages coz we had to wait for like 3 hours for a room....but they allow you to leave your luggage behind and you can go sightseeing around singapore and take the keycard later So I guessing I'll reach back hotel around 11pm latest. |

QUOTE(Argiope @ Sep 5 2011, 10:59 PM) You can move Skypark to your 2nd day. Going Skypark during daytime is better as you will have clearer view on the city and infinity pool. Bear in mind that shops in Orchard Road open at around 11am. So you may want to walk around Chinatown first then to Orchard and finally to Skypark. IMO, there's nothing much to see in Little India so you may ditch that lol unless you have a purpose of going there. QUOTE(wlcling @ Sep 5 2011, 11:12 PM) Now not cheap to get in sg bcos of expensive sg dollar.. U can go to clubsnap forum to survey price first...different item may have Better prices even though I can recommend u some different shops The time is just a rough estimation, should be more like having breakfast, chill around etc 1st.Go orchard road so early 830 got anything to see meh? Lol...not sure why u wanna go little India... Even Chinatown is abit boring. I think shopping alone at orchard may take your whole day already... Guess skypark next day then, was thinking of overlooking the night view in Singapore, more romantic I'm not a shopping person, tried walking the last time around the whole orchard road from Dhabi Gaut to end of Orchard. Nothing much to see (for me) and it's damn tiring. I wanted to buy football jersey. But it seems the place where I want it's quite out of the way. Peninsula or Queens shopping centre |

QUOTE(Mollai @ Aug 27 2012, 03:28 PM) Not sure whether I'm posting in the right thread.. anyways..i have friends from HK, will go S'pore first. Then will wanna spend a few days here in KL. First coach the cheaper one but tend to sold up fast, Aeroline slightly more expensive.Which coach line would you recommend? Something that is not too expensive and comfy ride. Besides, hopefully will be a straight from KL - Sin, not like those that stops at Larkin and requires to change to another bus (since they are foreigner, better avoid the hassles. Pls advise. Thank youuuuuuuu |

QUOTE(Mollai @ Aug 29 2012, 12:53 PM) Ooo..so wanna ask, cuz my friend is from hong kong, so I'm thinking whether I can help buy the tickets first. But they will go S'pore for few days then only come KL. So, not sure how those ticketing system works. Must he go to the booth buy himself? or I can actually buy for them, then give them the reference number to print out etc? You can ask your friend to register online and buy the tickets online 1st. http://www.firstcoach.com.my/fcweb10c/ |
