taking MRT from Little India to Changi Airport, how long would it take?
*

Hello, As Little India is on the NE(purple line), you need to transfer 2 lines in order to reach airport.
Little India(Purple) --> Dhoby Ghaut(Purple/Red Interchange) -- > CityHall(Red/Green) -- > Tanah Merah(Green) --> Airport

It will take around 40 mins as the walk in Dhoby Ghaut for mrt line change is 2-3mins walk and Tanah Merah to airport train wait could take quite a while.

If you are wandering around Little India, why not explore further down towards Bugis. It will be much faster, as Bugis is on Green line and Bugis to Tanah Merah is around 20 mins.

Guys ..
I just bought 2 tix for USS from their online site..

I've selected the date of visit to be on next sunday.

However, when the ticket confirmation is out - the travel period is stated fron nxt sunday until nov .

Does this mean i can choose anytime i wan to go until November ? or do i still need to make any confirmation with USS which date im going ?

Thanks

When you drive in Singapore, if you see taxi driver or cars on the fast lane suddenly slow down, there is an indication of a nearby speed check camera.

Can use Debit card in singapore or not?!! who can tell me....

If there is mastercard/visa indicated on your debit card, i think there is no issue.
If you have May Bank card, you can draw money from MayBank ATM Machine in Singapore.

I googled in PYO Travel and all the hotels there are more expensive than those prices mentioned here. ohmy.gif

Have any of you tried the USS 3D2N Ultimate Fun Package? Costs SGD878 though.  mega_shok.gif

I dont know what is considered ultimate fun in USS. But 1 day is more than enough for USS

The most affordable watches can be found in Bencoolen street.. it is in the Bugis around, near to Sim Lim Square.

i would recommend you not to stay near vivo city as there is practically nothing much to do..

If you dont mind travelling abit to Sentosa from your hotel, do look into boutique hotels in areas like outram park, chinatown or little india.

any recommendation of hotel there? how long does it take from the hotel to the train to sentosa?
*
i think it very much depends on your budget??
You can research the boutique hotels along Keong Saik Road. (1929 looks good though)

Its a 10 mins walk to the train station(Outram Park) from your hotel
and less than 5 mins journey to Sentosa MRT station (Harbour Front)

i'm planning to go singapore on this september, 1st timer here >< may i know where is the best places to go for shopping? Clothes, shoes and so on, dont have to be branded places, probably some decent brands is good enough. What should i pay attention to for those kind of things that i can bought it at a cheaper price compare to malaysia? I will probably go for shopping, then sentosa for universal studio and marina. will be staying for 3nights..
*
your best bet would be Bugis village for reasonable priced local apparels.
Electronics and apparels should be around the same or slightly cheaper compared to Malaysia.

We are looking at V Hotel or Michael Hotel. Any comment on these 2 hotel?
*
Hotels in Sentosa island are ridiculously expensive.

No comment on V Hotel but i recommend to stay near to "Purple line" MRT.
Reason is because the bus to Sentosa is at Harbout Front MRT(last stop of Purple Line)
