Yeap, it's boring if you have a budget. Singapore is only fun for the rich. And that also, you'd be bored after a good weekend.

Westerners like Singapore cuz it's a transport hub in South East Asia. For a gentle adjustment to Asian environment, they choose Singapore as their base cuz its environment is closest to their home. After that, they go enjoy elsewhere; the real fun lies in Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam, the Philippines.

Personally, if I have a few hundred ringgit for travelling, I prefer cuti-cuti Malaysia. We have many more gems that we can enjoy with small budget.

PS: If die die want go sg, then maybe visit their sex shops (there's one in Bugis and one in Chinatown). That's the novelty that you can experience. I doubt Malaysia has any eh? And the DHL balloon thing's quite special I think (still around meh?). Try Mustapha's mall too if you are bored at 3-4 am.
