Hi all,

Currently planning a 3D2N trip to S'pore with my other-half. Itinerary is pretty much simple,

First day (expect to arrive just around lunch time). Visit orchard road(the shopping~ LoL) and night time go for the Singapore Flyer.

Second day, whole day at Universal Studios.

Third day, back to Malaysia.

Transport-wise; planning to take Aerobus to and fro.
As for accomodation, we're looking for somewhere near/around Orchard Road or Chinatown. Ready budget for accomodation is SGD50(+/- SGD10), prefer a private room with attached bathroom/shower. Fernloft at Chinatown is our choice for now,but it doesn't have the attached shower. Recomendations are most welcomed

I thought night time at uss got pyro-display/fireworks?
cause the first day,we arriving around lunch..kinda enough time to take on orchard road for the rest of the day..LoL^^most likely window shopping,hehehe^^

I'll be visiting in June no more light art event anymore
As for the 1-altitude, there's a minimum age criteria for females at 21 years and above, and males at 25 years and above. I'm a male and only 23 this year

Oh well, the main point would be USS..then the rest can be slowly planned out^_^

In terms of accomodation, anyone here tried Fragrance Hotel-Bugis(near to Suntec City Mall) before? SGD100/night.
How aboute Backpackers Inn-Chinatown,SGD65/night?
Both are..near totally different standards of accomodations..I believe.. LoL

oowah, Orchard Road..so rich!! mind sharing with us which hotel you'll be staying?

how do you find Hotel81, as in, is it good? worth the money? No hanky-panky things right?

my colleague told me to change for just a small amount of SGD, bring the RM to S'pore and change it there - better than changing it in M'sia.. is that true?

went thre during the weekends, travelled for 3 days using the MRT..SGD15 in the card..more than enough to get to S'pore Flyer, Suntec(Fountain of Wealth), Marina Bay & Arts and Science Museum, Sentosa(vivo city), Universal Studios, Orchard road, and back to Changi Airport too

really impressed with the MRT there

Yeap, from Vivo, you take the train to sentosa, easy peasy

Guys, anyone know the music theme playing in the background at USS? Really like it, but no idea what's it called or where to find it =(

Sunday night sure KO, I did exactlt the same back in June, LoL everything seems great,but expect to have really tired legs on Monday..hehehe

I plan to attend the S'pore AFA in 2 weeks time.. 10-11Nov. Would put one night there.. so.. anyone knows any cheap/budget place to stay which is near the S'pore EXPO ?
