I plan to go to sg this october , can anyone here suggest what train need to take from KL , and what is the budget for two ppl?

Just going for two days.. i think i already have the idea on what activity i might do during my holiday. just dun have the idea bout this transporting. TS dont state the train info on page 1 either so kinda stuck. Help is appreciated tq

Since it's only for 2 days, i suggest you take a flight instead. Airasia flies you to SG for only RM39 in Oct. It's even cheaper than taking a coach and you save 4 hours.
And if you are referring to the KTM train, please forget about it. It takes around 8 hours. Not worth of your 2 days.

Tiger Airways impose much more expensive convenience fee and they don't have web check-in service.

hmm not sg wang & times square....like 1U, Midvalley , Isetan like that..

Wisma Atria, Plaza Singapura, 313 etc on Orchard. They have Isetan in Ngee Ann City (Takashimaya) and Shaw House. If you don't mind going out of Orchard, Bugis Junction and the whole stretch of malls in City Hall and Suntec City are also kinda mid range.

My parents (60 y.o.) prefer to stay in Chinatown and short walking distance (5-10 mins) to MRT/hawker centres.

I have selected a few from Agoda and Wotif but need some feedbacks on hotel condition, conveniency and location.

1. Hotel Re! - $378 for 3 nights.
2. Hotel 81 Osaka - $294 for 3 nights. (If not mistaken this is located in a neighbourhood and don't have much to see/shop/walk nearby?)
3. Hotel 81 Chinatown - $303 for 3 nights. (Wotif says usual price $300/night! Sure anot?)

Thanks.

I heard about the free shuttle service from Tune Hotel to Sentosa too. But you may need to call up to double confirm.

short term visit pass? how to get this?
*
That's the pass (white card) you get when you come into Singapore as visitor and it's usually 30 days but can be extended online/ICA.

Added on September 5, 2011, 3:06 pmAnyone can comment on my itinerary, I'll be going for 2 days only (this weekend)? Your help are much appreciated, especially for 2nd day. Time is just a rough estimation. I'll be staying a friend's sister place. They'll be 3 of us
The first night seems too rush right? If yes, should I abandon Crane Dance or Skypark?
*
You can move Skypark to your 2nd day. Going Skypark during daytime is better as you will have clearer view on the city and infinity pool. Bear in mind that shops in Orchard Road open at around 11am. So you may want to walk around Chinatown first then to Orchard and finally to Skypark. IMO, there's nothing much to see in Little India so you may ditch that lol unless you have a purpose of going there.
