To add..Vivo City...Even our Pavilion much bigger too...That's one of my regret when Vivo city opened ~3yrs ago...Nothing special at all! it's better to stick to Bugis Junction or Suntec city...& also the pasar Malam opposite bugis junction..more happening..

Some & probably most Bed & breakfast do have family rooms. & also attached batroom too..just check wth them. During my recent Semporna trip, I stayed at borneo Sipadan backpacking hostel. & yes 3 beds in reasonable spacious clean room wth clean attached batroom + free wifi. The problem wth B&b..no TV inside the bedroom. & very simple beds
Some do have 6 double deckers cater for large family as well..& all wth attacvhed bathroom. QUOTE(snow.Flakes @ Oct 19 2009, 04:04 PM) |

Threat the new unit as old. or pay..ahem...& act relax and use the green lane.
Honestly, Singapore things are no longer as cheap as >15/20yrs ago due to the doubling of their currency & also lotsa computers parts are also duty free in M'sia...Most of the custom offcers at the border no longer as thorough as what they used to be in the 80' or 90' QUOTE(aailysm @ Oct 26 2009, 01:34 AM) |

Haha, when i 1st holidaying in SG, the rate only $1=RM1.10 nia...That time me only form 3. NTUC and few shopping ctr still receiving RM & sometime they dun charge ant surcharge at all...within 2 yrs, Rates increased to RM1.20>>RM1:50 & thereafter maintained ~RM1:70 till 1998....thereafter gone liao...

Coz even if M'sia custom don't tax, buy that time also kena GST le.. With MYR so weak, not cheap to shop in S'pore nowadays... Hmmm, now is the reverse, many S'porean come to M'sia to shop ah.. |

Just treat Singapore like KL saja-lah..shop, shop & shop, eat, eat & lousy eat. easier way to travel around will be via MRT, just hop from 1 placve to another.
Since u hv booked Sentosa, use the fullest there since I dun think they probably throw lotsa freebies by u staying there? go round island & admire the cleaniness of the city state compare to the dirty Malaysia...tell u, u will feel ashame of m'sia once u're bck from SG..i sure did everytime walk bck from the border from Singapore..but now ever since the new immigration complex opened, i haven't step in yet so dunno whbether Jb is still as dirty as last time.. Also try their tunnel system, even b4 the smart tunnel, they already having the longest tunnel in SEA, & now wth the even longer road tunnel...I think >10km long...Smart tunnel is nothing liao...except the concept of flood control, |

Take the MRT to aljunied station & thereafter walk South from the station (ALjunied rd) for 400m till the junction of Geylang rd. Thereafter turn right or west for another 3 lorongs or 300M to Shell station. Hotel81 Place (lorong 16) behind Shell
Check the "+" pointer of Hotel 81 & far top right is the MRT station http://wikimapia.org/#lat=1.3118289&lon=10...=16&l=0&m=s&v=9 This post has been edited by stimix: Nov 14 2009, 12:14 PM |
