Just go to your trading post (if you've build one) and search for someone who offers marbles for the best price. Or you can try pillage towns in nearby islands, but it's quite risky.

I'm new to the game too (still lvl 3 town), so there might me some other way that I don't know. And I'm happy to find out about this game, I'm a fan of the Civillization series.

If I send both land and sea forces to attack a town in another island, will my army wait for the slower battleships before commencing their attack. Or I have to issue the land assault later when my ships are already/ nearly there?

And by the way, anyone near 3X:2X?

According to the rules, only if you attack a player (no matter which town you attack) over 6 times in a day you'll get banned. Still I didn't keep track on my pillaging activities, but I don't think I went over the limit.

Finally building my palace, marble island here I come!

I'll get my first colony on marble island in less than 2 hours!

Pillaging is pretty much a MUST for me without a steady source of marbles, but most of the towns around me are either heavily fortified or have little to no resources. So life is a bit hard here......

300 Swordsman...... err...... I mean 300 marbles will arrive in 8 hours.

That's a bad move. Getting more people into your town is an important strategy.

Populations = Gold = Timber = Resources = Armies = Research points = Action points

Without sizable population, your progress will be slowed down.

It's better to upgrade the town hall first if resources are available, especially when the population almost reached the limit. I always put the priority on upgrading my town hall more than anything else, and with the increased population I can get things done faster.

I might be able to send another shipload of marbles and wines if you want to. Are you near 3X:2X or 2X:2X ?

If you have nothing to upgrade becasue the lack of marbles and you can't find any trade partners, pillaging other inactive towns is your best bet although many people tend to have small ports in case of raids. Then use your loot to expand your trading post as much as possible, and build up your resources for trading purposes (be careful of raids though).

If all those above fails, you can ask for help here. We'll be more than happy to supply some extra resources.

Sorry to hear that man. I have to say, this is the strictest online game I've ever played. So how LYN-e gonna operate without a leader?

And BTW, I just set up my 3rd sulfur colony!

It's KCAncientSparta. I got quite a few of them around my towns (although some of them are inactive). Now I'm running into some budget problems here, too much pillaging......

Maybe your ship is being mobilized to attack the invaders, and no longer remain in town (technically). So to put it like this, you're the attacking side this time around.

I'll try to catalogue some notable alliance members around my area. I remember seeing a AFH member near one of my towns.

Hello there, remember me? Been absent for about 1 week because my 10GB HDD just died on me T_T. But now I'm using my handheld browser on a Wi-Fi hotspot.

Some people have took advantage during my absence, but not much lost on my side (in fact my resources has reached its peak!). Now I'm stocking up some sulphurs to beef up my defences, but I won't be as active as I used to be (2 colonies in less than a week. ).

And I was going to take screenshots of islands around and chart my future conquests before the hardware failure. And I was looking forward to join the LYNe (just know about the new alliance).

Currently at 1500 points.
