depending on your taste buds strong flavors Jalan Peel in the lane b4 the police station. flavor has been OTT since their big sis came back to run the stall. I like mine mild Kuala Ampang YTF pass Flamingo hotel right next to the sikh temple. seems quite now a days. Ipoh has it but its usually in stalls that serve noodles. most are usually good. they have 'interesting' varieties. which I like. cartilage balls are nice. cant seem to get those here in KL. been eating in PNG for awhile. tried most accept for one more stall (its located at the end of a field next to a busy rd, dunno the name). one sentence beh tahan. the only ones that is remotely good is Sarawa in Pulau Tikus. worst ones are always in shopping complex, nuf said. |

Authentic Hakka Yong Tou Foo actually is a mixture of fish paste, minced pork and salted fish. My dad used to make them and have not done so for more than a decade. Missed it so much. Very difficult to get places selling them. One place I know of is Restoran Sun Ming Kee in Taman Connaught, which sells barbequed meat rice (char siew rice, etc). This shop is famous and the owner is Hakka.

Hi all,
Don't know if you have tried this Yong Tau Foo but it is in the Jinjang area. I swear to you that they have the HOTTEST Chili ever! If you go there and try it and it is not hot, then I owe you a drink. The name of the chili they use is called Naga Jolokia and is really really super hot. If you love chili, then you MUST try this shack by the roadside. I have a writeup about this amazing place in my blog too. Directions and map is also in my blog posting for the Naga Jolokia Yong Tau Foo. Have fun and let me know how it was. |

For me it's the Tau Fu Fah selling at Petaling Street, diagonally across the mata kucing drink stall at the Petaling Street crossroad. What about you guys? But don't go there eat on Sunday because another person is selling on that day (The real stall rests on Sunday, damn strange)
Any other stalls to recommend? |

all the food sold at the main petaling street sucks...surrounding areas not sure.
wanton mee, yong tau foo (decent but environment sucks) porridge (terrible coz i've had much tastier and cheaper porridge at some random stall below an apartment in singapore) tau fu fah, air mata kucing (nothing special, RM1 tau fu fah at ramadan bazaar taste just as good) basically the food there cater for tourist, or some auntie uncle from other state. |

I strongly recommend you to go for Esquire kitchen's "Tou fu Ice cream"
it is a mixture of tou fu fa and vanilla ice cream.. no sugar added for tao fu fa but trust me, the ice cream makes the magic!! ITS SUPERB!!!! |

Others i might agree but I beg to differ on the tau fu fah.. The tau fu fah is the smoothest I have ever tasted and without the artificial additives taste like the usual TFF vans. |
