QUOTE(solstice818 @ Aug 12 2008, 07:41 PM) I think benayoun wont be joining roma...because he juz changed his squad number from 11 to his favourite 15... if he is to leave, why he chged his number in the 1st place? maybe he will stay, coz L'pool already sold kewell... but if he want 1st team football better move to Roma, coz they already sold Gully... in L'pool he will be backup player, coz Babel is 1st choise...

Tottenham Hotspur striker Dimitar Berbatov is at Old Trafford as he gets set to complete his move to Manchester United. Berbatov has undergone a medical and has been pictured meeting Sir Alex Ferguson and David Gill at the club's stadium. well should be a done deal then... at last the 'saga' ends... btw this news quite interesting... Sky Sports News sources understand that Manchester City have put in place a £32.5million deal to sign Robinho from Real Madrid, while reports in Spain say the deal has been done. Chelsea had been hoping to capture the Brazilian, so will there be a late twist in the transfer? juz for info, the new Arab Citeh owner is predicted to be more richer than the Chelsea Roman...

Manchester City are set to hijack Arsenal's deal for Andrei Arshavin after agreeing an £18million deal with Zenit St Petersburg, according to the Sunday Mirror. The 27-year-old striker flew into London last week amid speculation he was poised to join the Gunners; but City have stormed into pole position.
Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson has made Olympique Lyon striker Karim Benzema his main summer transfer target, according to the News of the World. And United's pursuit of the 21-year-old Frenchman means the end of Carlos Tevez at Old Trafford.
Tottenham Hotspur are ready to make a £10million swoop for Wigan Athletic midfield star Wilson Palacios, reports The People. Harry Redknapp's bid for the Honduran has left Latics manager Steve Bruce fearing his side could be torn apart.
Everton could face competition from Portsmouth for Saviola, as boss Tony Adams looks to replace Jermain Defoe, according to the Sunday Telegraph. Apparently Real Madrid are amenable to sending the 27-year-old Argentina striker out on loan on a short-term deal.
