Japanese games OST is not bad either, some of them are just awesome. The two of my favorite is Ace Combat Zero: The Belkan War and Brave Fencer Musashi

People can't help you choose music. You can only choose what music you like yourself.

I think game OST is only suitable for the one who actually plays the game hmm.gif

But anyway here is the other song I like from Brave Fencer: Musashi, because it uses castanets, a rare instruments indeed smile.gif

My girlfriend recommends me Enya, and I say her song is just astonishing! I heard her song before, but never know who sang them. It makes me hallucinating, feels afloat. Wonderful lyrics, melodious music. Its just heavenly. Song that I loved is Only Time and Orinoco Flow

This is rather funny, but I got hooked up with Goldfrapp. It somehow feels the opposite of what Enya gives, while Enya makes you afloat high in the sky, Goldfrapp makes me feels high like in ecstasy

Recommended song from her is Black Cherry, Ooh La La (this one is disco type) and Happiness

Talking about Bob James, I love Orpheus from Ivory Coast album. Extremely low noise floor, and the chorus is just exquisite wink.gif

Since nobody mention her name yet, I do recommend you guys check out Marit Larsen if you into pop/acoustic/pop folk music. For anyone who doesn't know, she is one half from M2M group who were famous from Pretty Boy. They were split on 2003, one headed on rock and Marit still on pop music, more to folk pop that is

What I particularly like about her music is, she made her own lyrics plus she plays some instruments on her own too. Even though that sounds normal, but give her a try. Her album sounds rather good too, not really have good dynamic range but not as noisy and flat as today's mainstream music. She sings with passion and the love of music, far cry from M2M days. Sounds rather organic I might say

I like the song Solid Ground, here is some sample of the song smile.gif. And my reviews of the album at Head-Fi

Well, you should try The Sinking Game. There is tons of minute percussion and detail in the background. When I done some mods, this is one of the songs that I use to test the details smile.gif
