aiming for ur passion is correct. but u must think issit becasuse u like to draw thats why  u think u wan to take diploma in illustration? bczo i have alot of friends who join illustration and find that they just like to treat drawing as hobby but not a job forever.

drawing has always been my passion. sometimes i even draw during classes in my secondary school days. despite being a science stream student, i had no interest in science, especially when it comes to biology n chemistry. physics is a different story though coz i love physics. tongue.gif i always want to be an illustrator so that's why i choose illustration, though my dad won't let me to choose it. sad.gif

sounds good. but how about drawing skills? cuz i not confident in my drawing but then they need portfolio and stuff when entering. are their expectations high? and if dun draw very well they'll reject you?

i heard that if you take diploma, then they will teach you the basics of drawing. Some of TOA students were weak in drawing when they started attending TOA but after learning the basics, they can draw like a pro. But then again, it depends on whether you are serious when learning the basics or not.
