Again, matter of preference. I can get past all that, because what I REALLY care about is playing some of my all time favorite songs with my friends. If they suck, too bad for them. LEARN TO PLAY OR PICK BEGINNER!!!!!!!
hehehe... corectomundo bro... the only way to master something is to learn from basic... be it real thing or fake plastics... guys guys this is not whose or which is better but more like the ghwt hardware is an epic fail in quality...

Yuppies...I guess in the end, both game are extremely enjoyable in their own rights.
Oh btw, I got 'em USB MIDI cable at Low Yat Plaza last weekend. But since I didn't managed to visit All IT in time, I bought the one that is slightly more expensive at around RM 80 after discount. So, if any GHWT drumset owner near Cyberjaya/Taman Equine/Shah Alam that might need retuning, just PM me and I'll try to arrange a visit when I'm free.
While I might be able to revive your drumset based on my own experience, I'm pretty clumsy and inexperienced around circuits and cables. So for that, I suggest that you contact pros such blacktrix to assist you.

Added on January 13, 2009, 6:00 pmGuys by the way,if you really don't like the WT drums due to it's manufacturing quality, there is a 3rd party drum set(I think it's an add-on,it was for the RB set) called Goodwoods.
I don't know about the World Tour set,but they're excellent on the RB set. There's more rebound, and it's really responsive,as there are sometimes that I swear I'm hitting the note but I miss anyway.

It's not just the cymbals, the pads too have been reinforced. Google "Goodwoods".Right now it's only available for Rock Band, but the World Tour set will come soon as it's in beta.

Lol that reminds me my dad was about to get me the V-Drums one day,but I told him I already have a real one. So he was like *facepalm* OH YA LOL
Anyway, where are you getting your V-Drums?The ones I saw were at Bentley's. They had the ones where you could buy extra cymbals, and there's room for about 10 more crash cymbals
Most likely, will go through bents, even though they usually jack up their prices. But I do have friends that MIGHT get it cheaper..... at the end of the day, it's my dad's decision, as he's paying for half as well.

Well...the thing with imported items, usually the larger the size of a package, more chances of it being taxed. So, I think yours will be taxed.

My 7k Roland V-Drums kit can only be bought in Q4 of this year
Just wait for your V-Drums woh, you can use that excess money elsewhere. Like moer games?
Yes. The GHWT guitar can be used in GH3, but of course, there's no touch pad function in GH3.....
Oh, and if you want to judge by the Rock Band Goodwoods Mod, I'd say it would cost around RM600-700, because of the extra cymbal. I think I'd still get that....
Well, in that case, bad news....... looks like it's going to cost RM600 or more already.
I'm still holding out for the Logitech deluxe kit, but I doubt I would buy that if it's RM1k and above, like their supposed "real" fake guitar. For that amount of cash, my Roland Drum kit seems like a better investment.
The other longshot, is that Mad Catz will release some cymbal add-ons.

damm.. if the price is way up there i guess diy is the only answer to my drum kit.. lol.. well i need to invest in new guitar so will skip on getting the drum fix.. anyway the mad catz cymbal is for the RB2 set right...wonder if that can be use as replacement for our gh drum...

I just played Guitar Hero 3 after such a long time, and I've suddenly become better I only missed 2 notes in Rock You Like a Hurricane, and I really want to full combo it.What style.
Anyone have tried to redeem GHWT free DLC's? --> http://freemusic.guitarhero.com/ The default sensitivity is pretty much random I believe. The only way is to retune it to your satisfaction.
Is free DLC for real? Summitted last dec up until now nothing.
