how did you hit it 'right'? i've been wondering that myself cos my cymbals are rarely registering my hits if i hit it softly. i really had to bang on it for it to detect. plus my orange cymbal is a bit longgar and shaky... can't extended it too high. but so far... super fun game.

i usually hit the toms with the round thing on the top of the stick (sorry, i dont know all the correct drum terms). with the cymbals, i use a lil bit of the stick body to hit em. by doing this, i can hit the cymbal lighter and yet still get all my hits registered without fail.

i was doing this all the while with the yellow cymbal cuz it's on the left (i usually hit the yellow with my right) that's why i didn't notice anything on the yellow. But as soon as i tried hitting the yellow cymbal like how i would a tom, it didnt register all of my hits.

after a lil experimenting i finally got it to work properly with the method above =D

I notice the drums itself are solid, much more solid than RB's kit. But the drum stand is a let down. Wobbly.

do your strum bars feel squishy compared to les paul? i mean it plays fine but i hv to change my playin style a lil bit when i use the generi-caster. otherwise i'll b strumming without 'clicks' hence missing notes.

Hmmmmmmm....... maybe it's NOT the guitar problem, but just built that way..... have to change playing styles too......which is weird, because I used the same playing style from GH1-3...... SG, Explorer AND Les Paul guitars.... no problems.....

Also, like you guys said, the Orange Drum Cymbal must really be hit hard. Will try to download the Sensitivity adjuster program and see if it works.

It's called the tip of the stick. laugh.gif
On my set, the yellow cymbal got less or almost no sensitivity around the edge of the cymbal. It register properly when I hit the center of the cymbal. Others are ok. nod.gif

I only have two complains about the instruments:
1. The touch strip label of the guitar should be on the itself to make it more visible, instead on the strip.
2. Wish the cymbals can be rise higher and can adjust its tilt degree.

Wish they put Voodoo Chile (Slight Return) in the pack too.

Anyone bought Another Way to Die? The GHWT version missed the orchestral background. I want the movie version wan... sad.gif

I've been using the GH2 controller all these while and I felt a huge improvement using GHWT controller.
