Hi there guys. I am really have a big problem with my iphone EDGE, MMS setting. I had have tried every setting but still cannot sending the mms and checking the map. any idea?

I did try unet and net but still unlucky.

MMS setting for iPhone

Maxis
APN: net
APN name: maxis
APN password: wap
WAP gateway: 202.75.133.49
MMSC: http://172.16.74.100:10021/mmsc

yes Im using the 3G SIM. I spoke maxis centre they told me my 3G SIM not active only the GPRS and MMS are active.

honestly iphonenokia (no pun intended), i cant prescribe much as one's experience with 3rd party apps differ from one another. the only thing that i can suggest you is, to use the latest fw. try uninstalling and installing and reboot your iphone etc.


or alternatively, you can try with another maxis's sim card.

we got to register mms or edge with digi/maxis 1st right???
upon register mms then we set ourself the setting like above? right?

btw... is mms and edge got to pay monthly? i heard mms nonit right? just ask them upgrade it. then edge?? got to pay monthly? or depending on how many byte u surfing???

digi's EDGE is automatically activated already. all you have to do is just enter the EDGE settings (APN, Username and Password) for it. at least this is the case for postpaid. not sure if it's the same for prepaid.

for digi's EDGE, you've got two choices. one is pay as you use, meaning you only get charged based on how much you use. if i remember correctly, it's 10cents for every 10kb transferred.
the second choice is to subscribe to their unlimited plan which is rm66 a month and you can use as much as you want.

Correction, if you are in FnF package for prepaid, you get max charged of RM6 per day for unlimited.
