u need to connect via Active Sync, then run the installation files. after the files are installed in your PC it is immediately installed in your pda.
ngenesis, the problem you face i believe is because currently in your registry of your device only one active sync is allowed, which is by default. by default u can only sync with one PC at a time to avoid sync errors. it can be changed, but i cant remember how unfortunately. just use your PC for now then while you do a search. |

QUOTE(OwenMnM @ Oct 26 2008, 05:10 PM) Hmm ... that mean additional software that NOT c/w WM6.1 need reinstall right ? Eg. Garmin, CE-star (chinese), Internet Browser (3rd party) ... etc etc. How bout phonebook, SMS, email ? yes those stuff all gone. phonebook sms and e mail all also will be gone. but contacts, and calendar and tasks shud be synced with active synced. u can also try PIM back up, to save contacts, tasks, and calendars as well as sms. but IMHO its better to start fresh with the sms, dunno why i feel restoring sms from PIMbackup somehow lags the device like crazyIt look very "mafan" to reinstall everything. Any back-up software that can do it easy ? as for reinstalling your software all....i havent tried it myself, but u shud have a look at Shashimi(google, cannot find then i find for u). Mind u i havent try before, as my stuff in storage card installed, i can just copy paste a new shortcut and it runs. those which dun run get error must reinstall. |

QUOTE(OwenMnM @ Oct 26 2008, 05:34 PM) Million thanks Bro sms use PIMBackup like i said bro. and again i'd advise against it. u see lor. if u find after restoring sms your entire pda lag, even after soft reset, hard reset, restore everything except sms this time lorI think reinstall software still can accept (just need time only). Cause just install only. But Contact & SMS will kill me, cause it was important for me. Contact we can use Active Sync, but SMS ... |

QUOTE(kylie @ Mar 16 2009, 07:14 PM) Hi all, check /My Documents, not in your storage card. shud be there I've have recently just bought the P320. Currently I'm experiencing issue with the files being transferred from laptop to the PDA. I used bluetooth and messages displayed shows that the transfer has successfully completed but I can't seem to find the files. Check on the storage card folder and My Documents as well..No luck on both folders..I even did a search on the file explorer itself.Any idea where else can I explore? Thanks all in advance. P/S:- Tried the phone myself..So far so good..1st time PDA user and it seems relatively easy to use if ur a Windows user. GPS works fine as well.. |
