I would agree to this. Somehow I find that a reader can tell when the writer attempts to include something in his writing from a quote he obtained from somewhere out of context. It somehow disrupts the flow of the writing. One of the important points in writing is to ensure fluidity in it whereby a paragraph flows into another with consistency and integrity.

Anyway this view was something shared by Ronald Dworkin in his chain novel theory

Read 'Judging the Judges' by Dato NH Chan
A lot of my friends with A1 for both SPM and GCE O couldn't handle it. If you can handle it then I am sure that it will be beneficial for your understanding of the English language.
