At the beginning i just wanted to take everything out n clean the dust...while i was dismantling my mobo,fans, ram ,proc n etc....i found out my casing was heavily scratched and feel like giving it a new paint...so i started my small little paint job....actually i din plan to post this topic, but on my 2nd thought "Y NOT?" and i missed the 1st few photos...

U can c all the parts are on the floor and my casing was at my balcony...



Too many dust in my PSU...decided to clean them

The whole casing is sent to the CLEANING DEPARTMENT (my toilet)


As u can c here....i've sand certain area of my side panel, becoz those are the area that i accidentaly scartched them


After the cleaning....all of them were left to dry at the balcony...so nothing i can do

i got no 1000 at tat moment...so i used 400 but i apply A LOT of water during sanding...

Updates...but disaster.....

I repaint my casing in flatblack. first i used this brand (DPI) of Spraycan for my Top panel


After done with my top n right side panel of spraying...my can is empty coz i spary for few layers to cover up the heavily scratch part and those part which i've sand...to get my work done quickly, i went to the nearest hardware shop n get another flat black. unfortunately, the hardware shop doesn sell the brand that i use to spray my top panel....so i got this instead...BOSNY...a chapalang brand i think, coz i nv heard this brand before.(Uploaded the wrong pic-white colour)


and then....DISASTER STRIKES!!!!i think u guys can tell the differences right? the chapalang Bosny turn into FOAM BLACK!!!!! not FLAT. and it is kinda powdery when u touch the surface of the paint even it is completely dry ....consider a failure... need to repaint

i thought i can finish my exterior spraying to...but...the Bosny brand of spray really spoil my mood....i think i will continue my work tomorrow

I think m2n-e also know this problem...he is the person who thought me this word "Foam Black". I cant imagine how is foam black when he told me, but now i can c it clearly for myself...

those dirty parts u c on the floor of my bathroom are cause by the paint tat i sanded from my side panels....my toilet are clean enough....tatz y i do the sanding in my toilet...

Added on May 19, 2008, 8:24 pmdid u notice that the right(side panel) a more blurry then the left (top panel)...and the colour is darker(no shineness at all)...the side panel's flat black looks like a foam black means it looks like those foam and it doesn gives the steel effects....

air bubble?...den i know y....are u mixing 2 kind of black spray together? those air bubble are cause by chemical reaction...coz there are certain brand of spray can in the market that u CAN'T N MUSN'T mix them together...or else.....once u spray them on each other....bubbles will appear...

no no.....wat i was expecting is flat black...those glossy black...but it turn out to be foam black....0% shininess...flat black will at least have 20-30% of shinniness...

Bling bling effects Among all the spray can that is available in the market, i like Samurai the most...other than its fine molecule of paint, its good for mixing colour 2.....Sparying 2 colour at the same time.... but i din do it on this casing coz i was kinda lazy n it is kinda hard, its been quite sometime i din do the double can spraying technic which taught by my lecturer


the outcome isn't that shining on the mobo tray coz i did the spraying during the nite time at the stair case...


to make sure it still shines even it is spray under a cold enviroment...i call out my baby to giv it a BLOW JOB
hahaha, don think someting else ok?!! it is a job of blowing the casing using a hairdryer.....
this baby is power enough to make the steel goes up to 70-80 degres at the speed of 7000rpm ++


tonite i will continue my work on the staircase.....CLEAR to be apply on the casing...YEY! after that its my f**king foam black panels
