I too am doing my "little" part to raise funds to help the Sze Chuan earthquake victims. I have seen many ways but mostly involved cash. The trouble of donating cash would be somehow, somewhere, someone, might take some “share” for personal well-being.

I was checking around and found a friend, from Singapore, been donating foods (vitameals) instead of cash to all the hungry children in the world.

He is donating via the program called "Nourish The Children". Chairman of this program is Lee Iacocca, he is CEO of the decade during the 80s.

http://www.nourishthechildren.com/ntc_corp/index.shtml

I have checked up the details and seeing some works that have been carried out since 2002...I am convinced of the sincerity of this organisation. If anyone have heard and with difference opinion, please highlight.

For all donations from now till end June, vitameals will be directed to the Szechuan earthquake areas

I am just here to play my part to create awareness of this program so that we might be able to do our little parts to help the poor hungry children.

I just got my friend to email me the donation fax sheet. If you are keen to donate a little for the victim in China, do let me know.

I really dunno why people rather help the rich than the poor.

China is a damn rich country!!! They are just too stingy. They need steel to rebuilt? Again China is the largest single steel manufacturing country in the world. Tell me what China doesnt have more than other country, I bet its DEBT.

I would like to transfer money to Yayasan Nanyang Press through Maybank online banking, but the problem is I do not have the "benefeciary ID".

Anyone know what should I put in the column "benefeciary ID"?

Why not give them call to ensure correctness? Is this also meant for the earthquake victims?

u should know
we are helping the victims....

but you cant blame that china is rich. If they are, Y still have China ppl live in kampung,
broken down house, factory hostel. Ppl still fall sick, die, .........
Even they are rich, the rich part is just to the company, not the ppl or the worker
The factory worker there get much lesser pay then ours here. So how can we compare.

yes it's tru, every soul is stingy, not only them.... I believe even u and me and the rest of the ppl in thsi world also are.
It depends on how great is ur kindness to others is calculated, not how stingy are u at.

Verticalar,

I appreciate your comment.

I always think what if I am one of them and the world around us not willing to help for a reason or another. Even the reasons are well justified and sounded making sense....but the fact could be - I NEED HELP!
