that's because the drive by wire throttle. the throttle response will be a few milisecond slower than normal drive by cable throttle. And don't forget the reesponse time for the stepper motor inside the throttle that even slower down the response from your pedal..nowadays most newer car comes with drive by wire throttle. go and see ur gas pedal, u will notice there's no cable but only wires attached with a black box with stepper motor inside..that's drive by wire...thus, when u change gear, it is deliberately to program the engine to auto rev and keep the rpm high and drop slowly so that it can gain the momentem when the next gear shift in.
