mine sept 2007 batch, oledi nearly 40k mileage, will do major service soon

will change engine oil, oil filter, atf fluid, brake pad, spark plug...

i tried mine with semi 10w-40, n the engine sound kinda rough, but it feels lighter..

dunno whether i shud stick to it or go back to semi 15w-50

most every semi syn oil is the same, juz look for the grade like 15w-50, 10w-40 etc...

i've used mobil n petronas engine oil for my car, n maybe next time will try delphi

juz now done my 40k service, not at proton sc, but 'bawah pokok' only hehe

details:

enduro semi syn 10w-40 4L with oil filter - rm60 (no sm grade for delphi, so i use this one instead)
air filter - rm15
atf fluid 4L - rm55
spark plug(4 pieces) - rm22
dot4 brake fluid(2 bottles as i do bleeding) - rm16
service - rm40

so total up i paid around rm208... dun ask me whr i got this cheap price, but i m very satisfied with wht i get

juz to tell u, imo 15w-50 engine oil is a bit heavy for our car, 10w-40 is most suitable, any brand can do, juz stick to one brand is the best..

for the oil filter, no nid to buy taiwan made or whtsoever, our local original is very good oledi coz it hav more layer than others..

the one im using is delphi brand, the one tht one of the lyn forummer selling, but not from him, as he sells more exp than ma fren... so u judge whether mine is fake or not...

ori proton atf fluid, sori to say, but for me, is rubbish... better get other atf fluid.. tht atf fluid cant stand higher temp, wth r they selling
