My M-line has this same problem as well. When there is passengers, there is a lot of sound. But when no passengers...no sound....sigh...not sure if it is the seats or other things.... rclxub.gif
*
Likely the squeking noise from the rear seats joints or hook side. Common for M & H range since its foldable.
Mitigate it by taping on the centre of ring side..noise gone. But new car onwards now has this upgraded ring that tightly hook into the seat ring. So lesseer loose ring noise. But taping it will loose the irritating noise.

Just fold down the rear seat..check the ring at 2 corners. Try 'tape' it the centre of ring. Then hook back the seat. check if it still noisy.

why u guys is having soooo big difference in FC 1?
i can get 270km@32 liter, consider the worst already, because i'd seen some ppl manage to get 300++ 400++ or even 500++km per full tank.

Now i saw you 2 guys is having 230km@30liter AKA 255km@32Liter. which is slightly worst than mine.

Wonder how those 400km/full tank manage to do it? I'd try to use NS from PG>KL (100% highway), also can get max 350km/32liter only.
*
haha i meant for town driving + some highway...if for full highway, my FC is very good...30 litres can bring me close to 400km @ 110-120 km/h. I'm impressed with that. It's just that for town driving my FC abit lousy eh...

Hi Kleenx12,

I'm looking forward for a H-Line Persona as well.

Somehow, the salesman told me that they've got only Iridescent White (the silver) and no Solid White which will save me RM450 from the bill.

I was wondering are there no choice at all to get Solid White for H-Line??? Or it's just those salesperson lazy to do it?

I even find the Mynavi useless and redundant, but they mentioned those bundled accessories cannot be deducted at all.

You know of any trustworthy salesperson that can make all these wishes came true?  blush.gif  notworthy.gif

I'm also not really sure, maybe the proton already stop their production on this color. But I've seen before on the road Persona in solid white color (I'm sure it's a M-Line or H-line because the door cover is painted same as the car body color, b-line one is black with no paint). Try to visit several proton dealer (bigger one if can) and don't trust the salesman in the shopping complex road show because they will try sell off the cars that plenty in their stock. Mined that car sales person do CHEAT u a little bit especially how soon u get your car la..this color only available in full spec la...Now this car no more comes with this brand to tyre la...bla bla...

The most useless accesories comes with the persona h-line and se is the GPS...no use for me. Satelite signals always weak at most place outside of klang valley..batteries so fast become low and took so long to charge back full...cannot leave it in the car or else your car mirror will get broke..

And...please mind that there are different between proton dealer (smaller) and proton branches (bigger (better)) . Don't give your phone number to the sales person if you not really want to book the car with him or else he will 'kacau' u.

I don't know any trustworthy salesperson, but I bought my car at the proton sungai besi branch with a sales person called Albert Wong introduced by my sister. Middle age man and quite 'trustworthy' perhaps because he is willing to help like fetching me to buy plate number, take document, free gifts steering lock, tinting voucher(note that your car already tinted if u took h-line or se), willing to ganti my rim cap(stolen in the first day i drove my car)...took my car within 3 weeks from booking date. rolleyes.gif

The H-Line's a worthy buy, altho you oughta consider the SE version;

1. Auto Cruise
2. Leather Seats + Trims
3. Silver Door Handles (Can be pretty hot under direct sunlight lol)

Setbacks for me are;

1. I personally don't find the SE rims nice
2. 'Smoked' front lights
3. The finger lid on the trunk doesn't make the trunk look good sad.gif Somewhat. Similiar to Gen2 CPS

Anyhow,

I don't think Persona colours are out of produciton of anything. I just feel the salesperson is lazy to do the job.

I waited for my Persona 1 month, within 2 weeks she called up and offered me black, but I was insisted on Blueberry Tea, therefore 2 weeks later, ta-daa~. Patience my friend, or you can look for another dealer.

By they way, white Persona's pretty wicked, my colleague drives one too. However, you gotta wash it during times like these (Monsoon)

You bet you can, HID would be illegal tho. Plus if you think white lights look cool? Don't bother, they don't work very well in the rain ohmy.gif

Guys, I was just wondering whether any of you did encounter the same problem as mine......

The fuel gauge of my Persona HL shows inconsistent reading after a few months driving the car. At first at times when I start up my car it will show my fuel reading, or sometimes it may not(shows low fuel warning instead), and the worse thing is after my car gets heated up properly + driving at moderate-high speed(~85-110km/h) the indicator will suddenly drop to ZERO-low fuel warning.

So after that I went to the SC to get the problem fixed. They helped me changed the fuel tank module, and the only improvement is that everytime when I start my car I get to see the remaining fuel, but after driving at moderate speed the same problem comes again =.="

Any ideas/suggestions?

Me been the owner do not think Persona should deserve the award. I thnk Honda City should win for having able to achieve close > 18km/l. persona is far behind. The figure stated by Persona is completely un-achieveable coz even the digital reading is inaccurate.

I just installed skirting and R3 spoiler for my M-Line Persona. RM1000 = front skirt + L/R skirt + rear skirt + paint - original spoiler. Nice!

i call proton service centre ,they said i have to go for aligment and pay my self izzit true ? Not warranty meh ???

Mine also got the same problem. But when reach 120km/h, the steering started to vibrate. Even my watch also vibrate because of the vibration is too much. Already make the allignment and balancing, but still got the same problem.

Anyone know why?

Thank you.

I'd like to see some pictures of your skirt + spoilers rclxms.gif Please? tongue.gif Lack of Persona modifications on this forum lol.

120km/h vibrating? That's very odd. I go up to as fast as 190km/h and only then it vibrates, I mean not as violent as my old old Saga touching 140km/h.

You oughta send it back to the SC and find out. Try the Shah Alam branch, they're more systematic I hear
