i'm gonna buy a house
and going to rent it out

i have not set up a company yet.
but i'm contemplating to set up a company.

for tax reasons.
currently i have a day job.

the income from the rent is roughly rm 500 per month
minus i have to pay the bank around 400 per month
so i get roughly 100 per month

but
does this mean i'm increasing my income to 6k per year?
or 1.2k per year?
only getting 1.2k extra.. the rest goes to the bank.

if i set up a sdn. bhd. the upfront is around 2k(not sure about this)
and there is an upkeep (500 / year) ? not sure about this also..

so
for all those home owners who are also working..
any tips on tax reduction?

if i set up a sdn. bhd., can use my petrol receipt as expenses?
coz everyday i drive to work, i'm also looking for new property to buy.
that's like rm 400 - 500 per month on petrol...
so can cancel out, so my business no profit one.. (well, unless i buy another property... )

so how ar?
any tips?
