My ndsl touch screen has 2 scratches because of the stylus I used. I called the shop and the dealer said that the stylus cannot do any scratch to the ds because it is plastic, so it isn't covered i the waranty, so pathetic right? Anyway, isn't there any upper layer in the ds screens?

Got screen protector on? Check. If got, can replace the protector, else, either live with it or get spare parts to replace it.

I wouldn't touch my DS touchscreen without a screen protector, and it is bullshit when the dealer told you the screen cannot be scratched by a stylus, with a bit of pressure it can scratch it. Although, I doubt any shop will cover scratches on their warranty, it is considered as "physical damage". Just put a screen protector and live with it.

Spare parts I'm not sure but I've seen online shops selling them. Best like Kellicros said. Put a screen protector now and live with it. Best alternative unless you wanna open up your ds.

What's wrong with some scratches? You're using a effing stylus, you're writing and scratching the screen, I do not know of any objects in this fine universe of polymers that doesn't scratch under repeated use. Live with it, the screen will work fine, with or without scratches.

Exactly , seriously NDSL touch screen can't be played without screen protector . The amount of scratches on the screen protector alone tell you how important the screen should be protected .

Really depends on how much wear and tear there is.

I haven't changed mine in 2+ years.
