Hi everyone...
well, i duno where to ask this question...
so i decided to open a new topic...

I would like to know what is a B-Stock guitar?
It's much cheaper compare to the non-B-Stock 1...

It is said to be a manufacturer refurbished item.
What does it mean?
Something like rejected? or what?

from the description, written it has been refurbished and tested by their manufacturers to meet original factory specifications.

Is it any problem purchasing the B-Stock guitar?

B-stocks mean that the guitar have a bit of defect on them,,
for example, a ding on the finish, or maybe just a loose screw on the pickup.

And from there the b-stocks are sold cheaper , because of the manufacturing defects.

There shouldnt be any wrong in buying them, but sometimes the defects might be more than what you see. Bad pickups, bad wiring or something along those lines.

Theres a risk, but unless if you can get the b-stocks 1/10th of the real price, then might as well get it and fix it lol.

this is an example for b-stock guitar...
http://www.musiciansfriend.com/product/Epi...tar?sku=518350V

the price of coz wouldnt be 1/10th of the original... but it's around 150-250usd cheaper than the non b-stock 1...
undeniable, 150-250usd ain't that much compare to its original price which is like 550-700usd...
b-stocks costs around 400-600usd
if it has no problem for that guitar, what's the point spending more 150-250usd which means RM500-800 on a guitar?

but what i see for the review of the b-stocks...
it seems to be okay...

personally, im not a guitarist altho i know guitar...
do u think is there any hard for buy a b-stock for practice or home-used?

i need opinion from y'all... tq!

Neh, there's nothing wrong with it.
Its just that the guitar might have defects, which may be overlooked, or may not.

I was just stating that there ARE defects, you wont know what they are.

If you're gonna practice in your bedroom, nothing wrong bout buying it wink.gif
Heck even some people go for used 2nd/3rd hand and they dont mind the condition.

i saw some reviews from some websites...

it seems that a Bstock doesnt hav much problem...
even if there's problem, it will be a very small n minor problem only...

so i think can go for it... hehe...

B-stock sometimes means returned instruments as they have a 45-day money back guarantee.
so they take those 'used' instruments and just repackage it properly again.
