saving for fast lens OR a flash... but completely undecided...
I've realised that I like taking photos without a flash, but I've realised that in a lot of situations, my 50mm f/1.8 just isn't wide enough, especially at a dinner table in a restaurant private room...I'd use my kitlens but most of the time it isn't fast enough... thinking of getting an external flash unit which would still give me some pretty good results indoors without getting too much of a washed out colour...
So... my current dilemma is...
1) which do you reckon would be more useful with my 40D, Canon EF 35mm f/1.4 L or Canon EF 24-70 f/2.8 L ?
2) OR should i just go with a 580EX II and wait til later to get a lens which would cost me my breakfast, lunch, dinner and perhaps a kidney?
oh, btw... currently have the 18-55 IS kitlens, 50mm f/1.8 and EF-S 10-22.
tq in advance, and hope I don't get flamed for not doign enough research... just wanted to get a general opinion from the crowd...
