Wah.. so lucky. Can eat milo. We all no drink. Only Eat Grass.
BTW, if get grey set, can be much cheaper.
Why not get 135mm F2? Cheaper and maybe perform better as well. Downside is no flexibility to zoom.
haha... still studying mar...

milo came from my lovely mummy mar...
gardenia buy sendiri...

yalor, grey set is cheaper...
2nd hand set even cheaper...

135mm f2 perform better than the 70-200mm f2.8L?
that's why lar, not really like it because no flexibility to zoom...

The question is, what r u saving up for? What's the next piece of equipment you are getting or planning to get?
Battery Grip, Dua Kati 8GB, Sigma 10-20/4-5.6, 70-200/2.8, 30/1.4. Total should be about 8K "only". wacko.gif ph34r.gif mega_shok.gif moneyflies.gif

I prefer megi, grass is farrrrrrrrrrrrr to healthy... brows.gif

For me, I have humble dreams (and thus the neverending megi buffet):

28mm f2.8 Minolta, 100mm f2 Minolta (or the 135mm f2.8 Minolta), 28-75mm Minolta or Tamron (or 28-70mm Sigma), Cosina 100mm f3.5 Macro, 10-35mm Tamron (when it comes out), Beercan, 17-70 f2.8-f4.5 Sigma, and (if I'm crazy enough to SELL MY CAR + EAT MORE MEGI) 135mm Minolta STF.

That should be enough alredi to keep me happy for a loooooooooooooooong, looooooooooooong time... brows.gif

What, no G or CZ lenses? Said alredi I wanted to roam the world with "affordable" lenses... brows.gif

WARNING : grass eating is not healthy. smile.gif LYN shall not be responsible for any health condition that may arise from such practices.

that said - not saving up for anything. not eating grass either. come to think of it, a macro lens and a fish-eye lens would be next. and perhaps a better tele lens like some 70-200.

all are not priority. so no grass eating. smile.gif not willing to sacrifice health for gears.

I'm currently saving for a Tamron 17-50mm f2.8, BG-E3 with an extra battery and 580EX ll. All in I think about 3.5- 4K? I would be able to afford it in about 8 months time if it's not for the loan commitment I took up for my Kancil. sad.gif

On the long run I would like to have a 70-200mm f2.8 IS USM. biggrin.gif

doesn't seem like a gd purchase since u alry have a 18-55mm??
The kit lens is not up to par with the 16-85. Totally different class. Moreover, read that the sharpness of the 16-85 is shocking.gif

ALso the 85mm gives me some additional reach from what I have now without sacrificing the picture quality as what a 18-200mm would bring.
