Perhaps he is having problem with the stock but even so, he should inform or update his customers about it as soon as possible, and not just leave his customer hanging without knowing that status of the business transaction. TS, I hope you have a plan for this.

I'm really surprised at this. So far he's been a reliable seller, even his lelong record is perfect till last month (about the time he stopped being online). My guess is something has happened to him, though I can't figure out what exactly. Even his lelong account went dead last month (also suspended by lelong).

Give him a call and see if you can get anything out of him. At the very least all his buyers need to know.

In any case, getting raptors for that cheap, it kinda makes up for the fact that you'll need to send to US for warranty.

No, that information is held by lelong.com.my, and is confidential. However, it does mean he cannot open another account and verify it using the same IC, he can only do it using someone else's IC.

This is just my opinion, its doesn't seem to be a clear cut con case, as he's been a reputable, (though occasionally difficult) seller on both lowyat.net and lelong for quite a long time. Having done so many trades, it doesn't make sense to disappear just like that with just a few people's money (most conmen would rake in as many buyers as possible before disappearing). Having said that, it pretty irresponsible that there's been no contact all this while. How difficult is it to just tell someone (maybe one of his buyers) to explain that he's having some kind of problem? Unless he died or something..hopefully not.

I hoped you're right too, but lemme keep my fingers crossed first..
