I have found a few Forums for BLM owners. This place is one of them. However, there is yet an official club.
There is an effort to set up the club. If interested, do visit www.thesagalub.com
The proposed launch date is August. Hopefully.

Please invite friends and other BLM owners that you get to meet on the street. THe more the merrier.

I think Proton will be happy to provide us some Freebies.
I am doing this for the love of my BLM, so i cant really say what freebies Proton will be giving out.

Other than having a face to face meeting with them concerning our BLM, it is the chance for BLM owners to meet and set up a club that Proton will endorsed later. Just like ProCC and V6ers

The Club name (at the present moment) is PROSBOC - Proton Saga BLM Owners' Club

RM1300 with spoiler ... RM1200 w/out.
It is ready made. Reinforce PU. Better quality.
Colour is set. You dont need to send for painting.

Setting up is very fast. only an hour.

Black model will end up looking like a GT Audi. hehehehe .. but smaller.

there is no agreement yet as for what will be in the meet.
The inital understanding is that i need to, FIRSLT, provide enough registered names of BLM owners and their data
THEN set up a suitable date.

Freebies, free service etc is available for Registered Club like PROcc and V6ers.
So, we need to set up a similir official club before we can ask for freebies, discounts and free service

Thats what i am doing at the moment. Hopping from one forum to another. Trying to get as many BLM owners to hop in.
My 2 cent is that - in all forums - the actual number of active member is only 10 - 20.
Even then, the actual number that owns a BLM is less than that.

So, yes. i found there are many forums on BLM. To be able to get them into one place is very ideal. But i am hoping that they all
be a member of only one club. A single entity that Proton will endorse as the representative for BLM owners.

Thats one of the idea for the meet with Proton.

Anyway, at the moment, i am also moving to the ground. i made some invitation card to join the BLM club. I put the card on BLM cars i found around melaka. hehehehe.. this look nut but hei .... it is fun. reminds me of Varsity life. putting leaflets on cars all over the campus.

heheheh which r u? i m in ayer keroh.

An ONLINE forum and a club is 2 different things altogether if u ask me.

An online community (i.e. Forum) is really for the benefits of those who use the net to communicate.
You only need to be in front of a screen to participate.

A Club on the other hand are more hands on as a simple group or organization is needed to make it active.
You have to be somewhere, meet some people, plan and do activities for the club.
It is a more recommendable place for those who have little time or interest to be online.
Yet interested to participate in social activities and gatherings.

As for recognition, there may not be a direct benefit. But an official club would certainly have a more direct access in dealing with Proton.
(i.e.Gathering, Check Ups, Carnivals)
A direct benefit like profits, Freebies etc is not the main idea in setting up of a club. You need a company for that.

It is a club that members are in for the interest at heart. Voluntary.
So, if people ask me about material benefits, i can't give any. It is not mine to give anyway. heheheh

This is for the love my BLM and those that share the same interest.
If there isn't any, staying put in a Forum is the best place and thing to do.

Hehehe.. honestly. i find it hard to convince people to join the club as most of them only care when there are something in return.
Well, i have nothing to give. I myself get no material gain out of this.

So, in the end, i rather have 10 genuinely interested owners than 100 coming to the meet whose only objective is to get freebies.
I don't know about gen2 clubs net or com but the idea i get at this stage, the BLM club will be a social club - first - a consumer club second.

hehehe ... thats ok. seems that a lot of people are not crazy committing themselves to such a set up.
This is just a club set up hopefully to become a tool for BLM owners to use to relate better with Proton.
From the info i got from ProCC and clubs endorsed by Proton, it is better when such a club exist.
And so, it is my hope that the club will be at such use later.

As far as social meeting is concerned, yes true. you don't need a club to do that.
It is already a nice feeling to know people with the same interest and meet them in these kind of forums.
To be able to have social meeting is even better.

As far as sticker is concerned, hehehe .. i am not crazy enough to put up stickers on my car either.
but some people are just sticker happy. hei . i go nuts in making my friends happy. hehehe

Is it worth it to have NGV on a Campro? they say u need to put in the one with converter that cost a whooping 6k.

Yup. i DID. Avoid driving in a jam altogether.
From gear 1 - went straight to 3rd gear after RPM hit 2.5k.
Have to be an expert with the clutch.
Usually, wont move the car unless there is a 3-4 car space in front
