Following the fuel hike, I was researching the cost of installing NGV also. Let's see sama sama.
Proton Saga BLM Campro engine can install NGV BUT must install SEQUENTIAL GAS INJECTION system. And the TAP to go with it? Dunno, add another RM300 for the TAP gua.. so price +- RM6.5k with 62L tank, you pay RM 8.50 full tank NGV can go for 150km. Pros : 1) Save petrol up to 65% of petrol. 2) 25% deduction for your road tax. 3) Unlike petrol, you need not replace your engine black oil very frequently. So you also save money on the oil cost when you run on NGV. 4) Environment friendly. No black smoke, no lead. Cons : 1) The tank is very big and will take about 1/3 of your boot space. 2) You'll have to queue up with taxi drivers to fill your gases. 3) NGV is available in selected Petronas station only. 4) If travel long distance need to refuel many times. |

Somemore I dun think it's feasible to taruk 2 tanks in there. Habis the boot space
If dun wan queue up, need to go during wee hours. Aih.. Also our car is new, if use long will dry up the engine aka killing the engine softly. |

QUOTE(ching4ever @ Jun 10 2008, 11:06 PM) At first I was thinking to change the HU but suddenly petrol increase, every month I need to pay extra RM200 just for petrol, gonna let go, just use CD enough. After all get a USB HU without using the CD, kinda useless too. Targeting GPS receiver to part with my PDA, no more lost in KL area. I wanted to change HU but now no budget By the way my 1.92 petrol finally finish, last wed went to pump till full tank, just now lights out when reach 398km mileage, pump RM60, 5 bars only.... Changed setting to T7, B3, F2, loud. Sounds nicer, as if I have a tweeter in front. |

QUOTE(ching4ever @ Jun 11 2008, 12:50 PM) HU, not going to change anymore, use back the stock one, don't want waste money for that, still got other interest to follow up. Installing ngv will void warranty right? I changed settings to T6, B5, volumn around 10-12 only. I'm listening to song not to suffer. LOL Looks good, continue report to us. Still wondering should I go for filter first, NGV or both together...LOL |
