MY BLM experience... i bought my car from subang jaya (proton edar-infront of carrefour subang). Good SA. Recommended. Booked my car on 03/03. My car ready end of Apr. He contacted me many times through my office number but no-avail because i change new number. Paid my dp 05/05. ~2mths and i got my car. I never bug him to check on the status. I just let him be. Book my plate number at KL because i want KL plate..he even arrange for registration. Need to go 2x cause my booking number is not in running queue. Got nice number without paying extra money to purchase besides the normal booking fee. Once gotten my car, he bring it to wash and ask me to come and check. I gotta leave my car for ~3 days awaiting for loan disbursement and on day i am supposed to take my car, he brought it to wash again.
So far i go no negative feeling on SA and my car. The only thing is i gotta arrange for the loan all by myself because i took staff loan. Quite a lot of work on the follow up part..
If you need the SA contact number can PM me..however, i cant promise early delivery cause he got special arrangement with my dad to cut queue.

if you bought from proton edar, you can bring to EON. However, you need to bring your car registration card. I brought my car to proton service centre but they refuse to service for me because i do not want to use petronas engine oil supplied by them. I end up getting spare parts from them and go to normal workshop to change it.
Babylck: which proton service centre did you go?

QUOTE(ching4ever @ Jun 1 2008, 01:33 PM) Nope, 200 works just fine to me. I see. The SA offer me different brand, I can choose whatever I want. At first I was thinking to get cheap tint enough but scare later it will gives a lot of problem so at the end I choose branded one, Solar Gard, won't feel anything and it is anti-break tint also. I think it is worth the money because saw a lot of cheap tint will gives bubble or rust problem after some times. ching, my old iswara using normal tint but so far, no bubble/rust/fade.. I believe it depends on how you take care of your car and the workmanship.. 3 years and no sign of problem on the tint

when i got my car, it was like 12km only..I think anything below 50km would still be fine but the scratches are not acceptable for sure.

based on mahathir's blog.. he mentioned petronas generate ~650k barrel per day..malaysian use around 400k barrel..another 250k barrels are exported out..
WHO SAID WE DO NOT HAVE ENOUGH PETROL?
based on Idris (MAS CEO/Ex-executive in Shell)... sign if fuel shortage= Long queue at petrol station or oil ship not moving WHICH IS NOT happening...

if you fix ngv system, you will face difficulty to re-fill. So far only certain petronas station provide ngv gas and usually long queue.

Proton SC wont change engine oil if you bring other than petronas engine oil. I have confirmed with them on this. I am using Shell semi-synthetic.

i couldnt agree more...i dont see why branded engine oil like Shell will damage your engine... I didnt do my first service at Proton SC. I do it at normal workshop..they charge me for RM10. Fast and less fuss...
Just to add-on after reading through few post about VS. I have checked with a guy from ICE shop near to my office and he actually asked me not to fix it unless i am going to fit my car with heavy ICE system. He said it is useless and not going to bring much benefits. Our current voltage/wiring system is good enough and doesnt require extra grounding. Besides that, it is not going to add extra "ommph" to the horse power. Guess your mind is playing trick into believing it is adding more power after fixing it.
Not sure how true but this is what i am told.
