i notice that all my ipod content is empty and i tried to syncronize it with itunes in my pc and i have thise error

"iTunes cannot read the content of the iphone "untitled playlist".
"Go to the Summary tab in iphone prefference and click Restore
to restore your iphone to factory setting."

any idea to recover back without restoring?
