Actually ear mites can be treated either with injection of ear drops.
If not mistaken lah, the ear drops are for older puppies, so for 8 weeks old, better take injection. The injection for sure will cure one, but need 3 jabs lah. The drug is called ivermectin. Better go to the vet, dun let the pet shop do it. The ivermectin can be taken orally also, means no need to poke needle. But the drug is very bitter, so the vet will actually mix it wif some syrup. U can ask ur vet whether wan to poke needle or take it orally lah. Some vet recommend poke needle, coz easy mah. For me, of course take it orally lah, not pain mah. ASk ur vet to check the ears first, dig some discharge out and see under microscope. My vet show it to me b4, its a spiderlike bug, geli....... I know this bcoz last time my puppy kena also. Hope the info can help u lah. |

My fifi is a shih tzu, and the groomer said she looks nice, looks pretty bla bla bla. I tell her she is "ugly" during her puppy time, and i also dunno y i bought her, maybe its fate gua. I show fifi's puppy pic to my groomer, she like Its fate lah. This post has been edited by joanalooidog: Jun 12 2008, 08:44 PM |

QUOTE(MasterAlvin @ Jun 20 2008, 07:18 PM) lol all talking about alarm dogs. Seven's leg too short cannot jump up my bed. so she will chew and pull my blanket away from me if i dun wake up. my fifi's body a bit longer than normal shih tzu, so thats y she's able to jump up my bed. and I'm the one to blame by teaching her how to jump she barks quite loud though not a lot. one sound after another. regret lah, hai................ Added on June 20, 2008, 11:37 pm QUOTE(elsie2602 @ Jun 20 2008, 04:33 PM) see all so kwai...sniff sniff....so cute..cooper cannot sniff sniff...still cannot panjat to my bed...heheheh dun so happy ah, coz poodle smart learner, very fast know how to panjat already. That time only u know, haha...........This post has been edited by joanalooidog: Jun 20 2008, 11:37 PM |

QUOTE(XiAoReI ^^ @ Aug 11 2008, 12:40 AM) heyyy i need some help here. by right apartment in malaysia = no dogs allow. Just that the guards open/close one eye lah.Brandy seems to be barking A LOT when shes caged up, well i cant let her out 24/7 cos shes hasnt learnt to pee n poo properly yet, esp at night. i live in an apartment, theres no rule which says no dogs but im reallly scared she'll be so noisy til the neighbours complain. what to do what to do. and in my opinion, u have to do cage training, else u will suffer. cage and ignore lah. |
