Heartgard, its a heartworm prevention, its use to prevent all sorts of heartworms. Some people said, it works like deworming pill (deworm the worms in the stomach), but I do not risk it, because deworming pill is only RM5-RM6 per pill and you only need to feed half a pill (for dogs below 5kg) every 3 months. Meaning, RM5-6 one deworming tablet, last for half year... its just like RM1 per month... Heartworms on the other case, is a MUST (because many dogs die from heartworm) and it costs around RM55-RM65 (depends on where you buy them). I am feeding both.

I know.. but I still would not risk it for just another RM1 per month
