I need help on this too.. I downloaded weDICT for 0.9KB. Its empty inside, so I downloaded EDict and Oxford Collocations. Ticked one or both of them in EDict, and I still can't use the dictionary. Can anyone help me on this?

QUOTE(frozzbyte @ Jun 14 2008, 02:42 PM) How do u install weDict? Make sure install weDict from weiPhone repo first then only the dictionary files i.e OALD or Longman or anything. Once u do that, open weDict. It will prompt u to search. Just tap search without any word and it will say 'Not Found'. On the bottom right u should see the 'i' symbol. Tap on that and u should enter the setting page. Make sure u have the dictionary that u installed are listed in there. Tap on in to activate the dictionary and indicated with a checked sign. Press done and your good to go. If u can't find any dictionary in the setting page, try installing other dictionary to test. Hope that helps. Added on June 14, 2008, 2:53 pmone more thing to check. Use iphonebrowser/winscp/mobilefinder or and viewer of your choosing and go to /var/mobile/Library/weDict. If u have 1 dictionary installed, there should have 3 files in there with the extension of *.dict, *.idx and *.idxc with the dictionary name infront. Haha. Yup everything you said I've done it. After that I search, its still stated 'not found'
