Actually a lot of people have shares which are stuck in odd-lots due to share exercises when they are holding their shares.

Share dividends like YTLPOWR which states that 1 dividend share for every 25 shares held. Unless you have 2500 shares or its multiple, you will get odd lots.

Even bonus issues have the tendency of making odd lots.


The best way to trade odd-lots is to call your broker because the charges are different. OSK can opt to view all the odd-lots available for a particular counter with buy and sell price. Odd-lots do not follow market prices it seems.
