Just joined forum & noticed thread been stagnant
If anyone has any green project going on I hope it will be shared for everyone to participate

My personal recycling tips:

Separate-
- Glass: Ketchup bottles, honey jars, fruit jam jars, vitamins bottles, beer bottles, wines bottles
- Plastic: Eggs container, contact lenses solutions, ice cream tubs, mineral water bottles, dish & clothes detergen bottles, shampoo bottles
- Paper: Newspaper, receipts, cereal boxes, toothpaste boxes, contact lenses solution boxes, tissue boxes, empty toilet paper roll
Aluminium Cans: Beer, soft drinks

* Of course must rinse glass, plastic or aluminium cans & leave to dry, otherwise they will stink.

After I accumulate enough volume, I give them away to a scavenger in my neighbourhood. There is also a place near my house buying aluminium cans but I think giving it away is more convenient plus it helps someone.

+ Bring my own shopping bags
Also, I am banning small plastic bags into my household. They can't even be used as rubbish bags!
Only when I forgot to bring my own, then I will unhappily take those big plastic bags from marts.


My condo does not have recycling bins so this is my method to help a fellow human being & makes our planet Earth greener. The things we can recycle is nearly everything! Even the veggies scrap I am already thinking to start a compost. So, as a single person you can start to do SOMETHING.
