Changing your old refrigerator has some logic to it besides CFC. Getting a new fridge can save you bucks in your electrical bill coz of the energy efficiency of new fridges nowadays. All electronics operate the same way. The longer you use it, the less efficient it becomes.

Anyway, I thought products that release CFC is already obsolete long time ago?
