buy the best u can afford ... the high end reels performance are about the same between brands
the revo stx is a great reel btw ..

as mentioned earlier ...
performance and maintenance ... all oso about the same for the good well known reputable branded products ie.shimano daiwa etc etc
most important thing is how the REEL FEELS IN YOUR HANDS .. u can have a super high performance super multiplier guarantee fish etc etc reel .. but if u dont like the feeling of it in your hand or it is not comfortable then it defeats the purpose ... get what i am trying to say ??

as for parts ... those large tackle shops that sells the brand u buy normally will have aftersales services ie.order parts for u or send back to factory if necessary
