gear ratio is 1 cycle turn in handle can retrieve X inch/cm of your line...
max drag is max power/strength (in KG) to pull your line out after drag fully locked...

it's in bukit smtg. bukit bendera or smtg. theres a restaurant there. then ppl can jog around the pond. however there's no-fishing sign in the pond. hahaha. oh ya outside got hawker centre or mini pasar like that. alot of chinese food one.

last time there was fishing there in bukit padang.. there was a section dedicated for fishing.. but that was a long long long long long time ago.. too many people come and fish and taking away the fishes..

yayaya bukit padang. we were feeding the patins there with bread. average sizes ranging around 5kg maybe? then we saw a huge patins around 12 or 13kg maybe? that freaking big hahaha

I know there's a place in Kuching does that. Reservoir park, they hold competition i think once a year. Maybe have diff categories where some can bring back or some have to let go back into the water, depends if enuf fish to repopulate or not

dunno what to bring yet.. this coming trip is my 1st trip to BSR... will consult my sifu... haha.. maybe popping rod or buy at 7seas..

like mayb a 6ft 2/4 rod ,daiwa oceano 4500, and 30lbs braid i think is enuff. lol

hmmm better dont use braid at BSR, I been there for 3 time using 6.6ft cheap kai jigging rod + daiwa freamj 4500 loaded with 40lbs braid.
It's hard to fish with braid there and 25-30lbs mono work best according to kun thais. To fully enjoy your BSR trip.. you should hire a guide because only thais know the right mixture of "lum" [a kind of powdery stuff] or "lompang" [bread]
