http://forum.lowyat.net/topic/694494/+1800

how can i convert the latitude and longitude coordinates to GPS coordinates?
OK lets say Tasik Prima : lat 3.0005987 lon 101.603794

I find that position in MapSource it shows me:
N3° 0.84
E101° 36.169

What type of GPS brand are you using. Some GPS brands have difrent settings. Well, to be frankly with you, a compass, GPS and someone that knows the area is the best bet. Bring that person with you once or twice (this is not for the far ones like where u cant see the shore) lets say you want to go to tasik prima. That person knows. On the way going there, on your GPS. Once reached. Pin point the location and look at the compas as where its directing. And only then you on your fish finder too (this is important to know how big is the coral reef below). Just survey around that area up and about. Search for coral reef that is big, huge (as alot of fish live and breed in those areas). And dont forget to also pin point that location. After finishing pin poining the location. Try one by one to find out where is the "lubok" of the fish. Once you have detected it (lets say out of 10, 4 places are promising) delete the rest. And set those 4 point as your fishing ground. But beware, sometimes the coral are higher that that is showed in the fish finder.

taman tasik prima got lots of toman and peacock bass fish.
it is better if you have a boat fishing at there , cost all the big tomans are in the middle of the pond.
