if you really want to use mono 50lb, you need to have a big sized reel. no point putting 50lb mono in a freams J and let the plabuk spool all your lines out.

QUOTE(max_cjs0101 @ Jun 27 2011, 08:41 AM) Young trading in Pudu does reel servicing. there are "seasons" in fish valley. when the timing is right, you'll get fish everytime you cast, but with the right bait and technique. sometimes 0 fish. Added on June 27, 2011, 11:11 amBtw, is it good in fish valley@semenyih? Its quite a distance from my place in Setapak so would it be worth the trip? |

QUOTE(max_cjs0101 @ Jun 27 2011, 04:04 PM) i don't have the gps coordinates. but the landmarks there is taman penindustrian sri haneco. if you're there, you're very very near fish valley already. the industrial area looks like a dead town with only a few operating shops. |

QUOTE(vioxmonsta @ Jun 28 2011, 09:57 AM) ancua? =P come and join us la we shall see. im still a student. no budget. can go pond fishing already curi curi laugh already. the arapaimas are true but no one landed it before yet. the owner said, if you wanna land the arapaima, min. 40lb main line and 60 or 70lb leader. anything below that will putus and will hurt the araima. why do u need a reel servicin? mm seriously nt bad if you hooked on some big fish. mekong up to 35kg and araipama..thats wad d owner tell me la he himself told me that his pond if wanna fish u have to go by morning 9pm till 12pm then 3pm till 6pm the rate of getting fish are much pratically higher. with the method of floating bread,u'll have to cast as far as you can. QUOTE(max_cjs0101 @ Jun 28 2011, 01:52 PM) if you're planning to target 2 to 3kg fishes, there an rm5 pond beside the main pond. fishes there ranges from 1~4kg. if not mistaken u can bungkus the fish. but im not too sure, coz i never fished in the rm5 pond before. |
